The project combines the shape of a letter, a city whose name begins with that letter, and an iconic landmark from that city. For example, the letter “V” is illustrated with Venice’s twinkling lights and one of its iconic gondola boats.
Designed by collaborators Rigved Sathe and Payal Jagwani, the project, “Around the world with type”, speaks to the duo’s passion for seeing the world. “Our thirst for travel had us going crazy with colors, images, letterforms and exploring the depths of experimental type,” said the designers.
